About the Academy
Swokei Academy is a free school for web designers, web developers and freelancers who want to run a real business: build sites clients are proud of, find those clients without spamming anyone, and keep them for years.
Who it comes from
The tips here come from a web design agency we know that runs with a team and brings in about $200k a month. We say that so you know where the advice comes from, not as a promise of what you will earn. Markets, prices and people differ.
Their way of winning clients is simple: reach out to a business whose website was holding it back, get a reply, make a free draft, show it live on a video call, and close. The Get Clients course teaches that sequence step by step.
What we will never do
- Invent testimonials, student numbers, ratings or results.
- Promise income. Every money figure in a lesson is labelled as an example.
- Lock essential lessons behind a sale. Every lesson is public and free.
- Pretend a tool does something it does not, including Swokei.
Where Swokei fits
Swokei turns website flaws into personalized outreach emails for web designers. It is our product, so it appears where it is genuinely relevant: beside the outreach lessons, in one optional demo lesson, and at the end of a course. Everything in the Academy works without it.
How lessons are kept accurate
Prices, laws, hosting terms and AI tools change. Each lesson shows when the material was last reviewed (currently October 18, 2026). Lessons that touch prices, email law, hosting or AI tool terms are reviewed every quarter, and a lesson that has gone stale is fixed or removed rather than left up. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
Videos
Today the lessons are written, step by step, with diagrams, templates and real screenshots where software is involved. Video walkthroughs are being produced and will be added to the lessons they belong to. We will not show a video thumbnail until there is a video behind it.
