What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language, login status, and how you interact with the site. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same job, and this policy covers them too.
Your choice, on the website and in the app
When you first visit swokei.com, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category. The app has its own short banner for anyone who has not answered on the website. Both store your answer in one cookie, swokei_cookie_consent, on .swokei.com, so a choice made in one place applies in the other.
Until you accept analytics, PostHog, our analytics tool, is not loaded at all on swokei.com. In the app, analytics runs in a cookieless, anonymous mode: it sets no cookies, stores no identifiers on your device, and is not linked to your name or email. Only if you accept does it use cookies and connect your activity to your account.
Advertising pixels load only after you accept marketing cookies. Google's tag runs in Consent Mode with advertising and analytics storage denied by default, so it sets no cookies until you accept.
How to manage cookies
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page on swokei.com. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies, but signing in to the app needs the necessary cookies, and other parts of the website may not work as intended.
The demo booking window is provided by Cal.com and loads only when you open it; Cal.com's own policy applies to it.
